Meet Farrah Smith - The Agraccountant
Agriculture isn’t just my work… it’s my world.
I founded The Agraccountant to give farms, dairies, and ag-based businesses the financial clarity they deserve — without the confusion or cookie-cutter accounting advice that never fits the realities of agriculture.
I understand milk checks, feed bills, crop cycles, and the seasonal rhythm of your operation — and my job is to turn your numbers into knowledge you can use.
My Background
I grew up on a farm, so agriculture isn’t something I learned from behind a desk, it’s been part of my life from the beginning. For the past 19 years, I’ve worked exclusively in agricultural accounting, helping dairies, farms, and ag-based businesses gain the financial clarity they need to operate confidently and sustainably.
Because I understand the realities that shape your numbers ,milk checks, feed costs, seasonal cash flow swings, herd health, equipment decisions, and the day-to-day pressures of running an ag operation, I’m able to turn complex financials into clear, meaningful information. My clients value that I “speak ag” and know how to navigate the unique financial rhythms of this industry.
My Approach
No jargon. No judgement. Just real financial clarity. I believe your accountant should speak ag, not Google it. Trust matters, and transparency matters, so I keep everything simple, accurate and meaningful.
The Personal Side
When I am not crunching numbers, I’m supporting FFA students and agriculture education, as I proudly serve as the President of the Arizona FFA Foundation and Chair of the Blue & Gold Gala, aka, “The Biggest Night in Arizona Agriculture”.
